Wailuku Hongwanji Mission is proud to share recent recognition from the Maui Nui District Scouting Awards program. Our own Paul Petro (Pack 40) was honored as Cubmaster of the Year for the 2025– 2026 program year. Congratulations, Paul, and mahalo for your dedication and leadership in supporting the youth of our community.
The Maui Nui District Awards ceremony was held on February 22 at Camp Maluhia, where scouting leaders and youth from across Maui were recognized for their service and achievements. The event also honored the Maui Nui District Eagle Scout Class of 2025, including five Eagle Scouts from Wailuku’s Troop 40:
