In preparation for Obon our Sakura 4-H members helped clean the sliding doors and the social hall. As our members continue to grow so do their skills and this year parents found better quality in their products. It was a meaningful way to contribute and show pride in our shared space.
We also had the wonderful opportunity to interact with the community during Obon, selling our signature LED hair pins, li hing mui gummies, and baked goods from our 4-H families. We raised funds for our activities and supplies and enjoyed conversations with attendees, 4-H alumni and our fellow members. We sincerely thank Wailuku Hongwanji Mission and its members for their continued support of our Sakura 4-H Club. These events reminded us of the power of community and working together
