On August 23, 2025, the judo club participated in the Uemura Cup held at the Edith Kanakaole Stadium in Hilo. 374 judokas from Hawaii, the U.S. mainland, and Japan participated in this event. Wailuku Hongwanji Judo Club was represented by three judokas.
