Troop 40 recently celebrated a significant milestone with their Cub Scouts at a bridge ceremony held at the VFW Hall. During this special event, the Cub Scouts officially crossed over to become Boy Scouts, marking a new chapter in their scouting journey.
In addition to this memorable ceremony, Troop 40 took 14 boys to summer camp at Maluhia. During their time at camp, the Scouts demonstrated remarkable dedication and skill, earning a total of 56 merit badges across a range of activities, including Archery and Wilderness Survival.
A highlight of their summer camp experience was a night spent camping without tents at Waihee Ridge, showcasing their ability to embrace and adapt to challenging conditions in the great outdoors.
Congratulations to all the Scouts for their achievements and for their commitment to the values and spirit of scouting.
