The Friends Forever 4-H Club hosted the County 4-H Spring Party. We were the station leaders for the different crafts and activities such as butterfly fruit loops, Mother’s day tea or coffee cards, sewing a flower and straw lei, making spring flower dirt cups, and making flower pens. We also made a taco bar for lunch and an ice cream bar for dessert. Our community service project for this event was collecting donations of diapers, wipes, and formula for Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Hawaiʻi.
In June the Lōkahi Girls attended the County 4-H Achievement event where we presented our 4-H year to our peers and were inducted into our different officer positions. Afterwards we had our end of year celebration at Friends and Faire and designed our own hats and bags. We also welcomed two new members to our group.
