During the month of November, Wailuku Hongwanji Buddhist Temple joins temples across the state in supporting the Annual Social Concerns Fund Drive, coordinated by the Honpa Hongwanji Committee on Social Concerns.
This is a time to reflect on our blessings, give thanks, and extend compas-sion to those in need. Practicing Dana, selfless giving, is a year-round commit-ment, but November offers a special opportunity to come together in generosity.
A designated donation envelope will be included with the November “Friend of the Dharma” newsletter. Contributions may also be submitted directly to the temple office. A question often asked by members is “How much should I donate to Social Concern? A good guide is “Donate what you would spend for one meal on your family or cost of one meal at a restaurant.” Please make checks payable to Wailuku Hongwanji Mission.
Your generosity helps illuminate the path of kindness and resilience. Thank you for your continued support.
