The BWA Membership meeting was held on June 11th. Council member Yuki Lei Sugimura was our speaker, and she shared her family’s history with Buddhism, and how our temple was part of her family life and upbringing.

The next Hosha day is scheduled for Thursday, July 6, at 8:00 a.m. All temple members are welcomed to join our dedicated BWA members in helping with Hosha. If you are interested in participating on Hosha Day, please come to the temple at the designated time. No need to sign-up.

The BWA will be donating baked items and snacks to Lanai Hongwanji Mission for its Obon on July 8th.
