The Clover Report June 2024

Did you spot our 4-H girls at Del’s Farm Supply in April? All Sakura clubs participated in the National Paper Clover campaign and the Aloha Girls started it off for everyone taking the lead for other clubs to follow. Thank you to Del for your support of the 4-H program!

Aloha Girls: Our Aloha girls truly showed aloha by spending time on the week- end to raise funds for the Maui 4-H organization. The girls used their voices to educate the community and patrons of Del’s about all the exciting things they have done in 4-H for the year. The girls were able to raise around $400 from generous patrons for the Maui 4-H clubs. Great job girls!

Lōkahi Girls: After spending time with the community at Del’s earlier this month, they moved on to their next community activity by making Sweet Treat boxes for the Mother’s Day Scout Brunch at the Mission. President Emma led the others with a No-Bake Energy Ball recipe they learned from the County Teach-In last month. The recipe was demonstrated by fellow 4-H and Wailuku Hongwanji Dharma student Sam. The girls packaged them in dessert boxes, with decorated tags to show their appreciation of Mothers and Women. They would like to thank Troop 40 for allowing them to join in this annual celebration of Motherhood.
