The early morning Sunday service (Oasaji) was started during the term of the Reverend Hino in 1946. The late Mr. Shigemi Okamoto recognized the importance of the morning service and began recruiting members to form the “Asanotomo”. The group continues to meet for worship and fellowship today. Asanotomo meets on the first Sunday of every month at 6:30 a.m.
