The BWA had its General Membership Meeting on March 10th. Members and others were able to participate in a demonstration of modular origami, presented by Ron Abilay.
The Maui United BWA 2024 Spring Assembly was held on March 16, 2024 at the Makawao Buddhist Temple. The Assembly was held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and included lunch. Members had the opportunity to connect with other BWA unit attendees in Maui County.

Pork Hash with Tofu & Gravy Courtesy of Bette Nomura
1 lb. of Pork Hash*
1 ½ cups Water
1 ½ tbsp Soy Sauce
3 tbsp Oyster Sauce
½ tsp Salt Green Onion
2 tbsp Cornstarch (mixed with water)
1 block Tofu cut into small squares
*May substitute Pork Hash with ground turkey or ground chicken
Brown pork hash. Add water, oyster sauce, salt and soy sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes. Thicken gravy with cornstarch mixture. Add tofu and green onions, and heat thoroughly.
